📋 Tip: tax law requires tipped workers to keep a daily record of tips. Tip Log keeps exactly that — every shift, dated, stored on your device. Bring this summary to your tax professional.

Shift Reminder

Get a nudge to log your tips after your shift. Tip Log checks when you open the app: if it is past your reminder time and no tips are logged for today, you will get a reminder.

Honest note: web apps cannot always send notifications while closed. If a notification cannot be sent, Tip Log shows a reminder banner on the Dashboard instead. Adding Tip Log to your home screen makes notifications more reliable.

Your Data

Everything is stored only in this browser, on this device. Nothing is uploaded anywhere.

Privacy Policy

1. What data the app stores

Tip Log stores the records you enter: shift dates, job names, hours worked, wages, cash and card tips, and tip-outs. That's it. There is no account and no sign-up.

2. Where it lives

All data lives in your browser's local storage, on your own device only. It never leaves your device.

3. What we never do

No servers — your data is never uploaded
No tracking or analytics
No ads
No sharing or selling of your data — ever

4. Your control

You can edit or delete any shift at any time, and erase everything at once in Settings → Clear All Data. Uninstalling or clearing your browser data also removes it.

5. Tax note

Tip Log helps you keep tip records, which tax authorities require tipped workers to maintain daily. The app is a record-keeping tool only — it is not tax advice. Please consult a tax professional about your own situation.

6. Children

Tip Log is not directed at children under 13.

If this policy changes, the updated version will appear here with a new "last updated" date.

Optional email updates

If you choose to sign up for email updates (the “📬 Get updates” button), your email address is sent to and stored on our secure server so we can send you app updates and tips. This is completely optional — the app works fully without it, and all your app data still stays only on your device. We never sell your email. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can ask us to delete your email at any time via freeappspot.com.

Optional suggestions

If you choose to send us a suggestion (the “💡 Suggestions” button), your message — and your name and email address if you provide them — is sent to and stored on our secure server so our team can read it and improve the app. This is completely optional. We never sell this information, and all your app data still stays only on your device.
