About
Plant Pal β a tiny offline plant-watering reminder from FreeAppSpot. Version 1.0.
π Privacy Policy
Plant Pal is built to be private by design. This policy explains, in plain language, exactly what happens with your information. It is written to align with Canada's PIPEDA principles.
1) What data the app stores
The app stores only what you type in: your plant names, optional type/species, room or location, notes, watering and fertilizing intervals, and the dates you last watered or fertilized. That is all. The app has no accounts and collects no name, email, address, or any other personal information about you.
2) Where it lives
Everything is stored in your browser's local storage, on this device only. Your plant list never leaves your phone or computer, and there is no Plant Pal server receiving it.
3) What we never do
We never use servers, accounts, analytics, or tracking of any kind. There are no ads, no third-party scripts, no cookies for advertising, and no data is ever sold, rented, or shared with anyone β there is nothing to share, because nothing is sent anywhere.
4) Your control
You are in full control. You can edit or delete any plant at any time, and you can erase everything at once using "Clear All Data" in Settings. Clearing your browser's site data also removes everything the app stored.
5) Notifications note
Plant Pal can show reminders on this device when a plant is due for water or fertilizer β but only if you turn them on with the βTurn on remindersβ button. Reminders are created right here on your device; nothing is sent to any server to make them work, and no information is collected in the background. Due and overdue plants are also shown as badges and groups inside the app whenever you open it, whether reminders are on or off. You can turn notifications off at any time in your browser or system settings.
6) Children
Plant Pal is a general household utility and is not directed at children under 13. It does not knowingly collect information from children β or from anyone.
7) Changes to this policy
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will appear on this screen with a new "last updated" date before the change takes effect.
8) Contact

Optional email updates
If you choose to sign up for email updates (the βπ¬ Get updatesβ button), your email address is sent to and stored on our secure server so we can send you app updates and tips. This is completely optional β the app works fully without it, and all your app data still stays only on your device. We never sell your email. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can ask us to delete your email at any time via freeappspot.com.
Optional suggestions
If you choose to send us a suggestion (the βπ‘ Suggestionsβ button), your message β and your name and email address if you provide them β is sent to and stored on our secure server so our team can read it and improve the app. This is completely optional. We never sell this information, and all your app data still stays only on your device.
9) Last updated
Last updated: October 2026.
